May 6, 2016 - Nyarugenge Prison - Valerie Bemeriki, 61, was a radio announcer who mobilized Hutu paramilitary groups to kill Tutsis; she was responsible for many deaths. Valeri was one of the two main voices for RTLM (a Rwandan radio station) which was widely listened to - it projected racist propaganda against Tutsis and moderate Hutus. She's serving a life sentence.
